Foam inserts should be placed for each new procedure.
Designed with two for infection control purpose
One end to be used for storage of accessory files - K-Files or Gates Gliddens as you wish
The other end to be used to insert used files to clean them during a procedure removing the dentine debris, or to place the used files safely to be discarded at the end of the procedure.
These foams can be autoclaved with the assembled set of files prior to the next patient
